Truck Design on wall

Started by making the borders to work in. This will help keep it alligned.

Started to stick up some of the parts I have completed.

Grouping different parts together. Had to put them in the right order to be able to see the truck body.

Started to paint using acrylic. Applying the paint thick so the colour comes out quite dark. Also wanted it to be seen as hand rendered.

Truck starting to take shape.

Printer broke!

From the phone book pages I printed on, I started to build the trailer of the truck.

Photographed Logos

Experiments with my image. Tried experimenting with the Gradient map tool.

I did a Collage of colours while still making the truck visible. I thought this would be a interesting experiment for when i start to do the final. I will try non-computer medias as well.

This was one of the effects created by the gradient map. To me, it looks like a map or glitter? I added this to my experiments because I might be able to adapt this into my work.

THis one also looks like a map. It was created by the gradient map tool and has more of a shape of a map.

Draft Design for Advertisment

For my Mother and Father advertisment. I looked at this advert which shows the features of the car in their planning stage, creating the car.
Since my project is about logistics, it involves a lot of vehicles.

I decided to try and re-creatre this design in my own style using this picture. This picture is of CP&K Mooney transport and is a more modern truck than some of the others i have images of.

For the design. I had drawn the truck with basic detail. Then I cut up small pieces of paper and stuck them on top of certain places. I then drew on the pieces of paper, drawing what was underneigh in more detail and zoomed in.
I like this sketch because it successfuly proved that doing this large scale is possible and gives me a guide to use.
